June | End Notes

June 29, 2021

Welcome back to another edition of end notes. My monthly end notes are an end-of-the-month series on BeckaBellaStyle in which I reflect back on the month’s events in a ‘snippets of life’ format. It’s a mix of what I’ve worked and/or working on for the month, things I’m up to, the latest favorite purchases that I think you should know about (with direct links so you can shop too!), and just what is currently on my mind. Basically, it’s a little bit of an assortment of escapism for you while sipping on your favorite cup of bevy. Enjoy!

My latest favorite update at home is this dried floral bouquet made from a mix of peonies and other flowers I couldn’t part with after they dried for our living room fireplace mantel. I love the texture, the pop of color and the warmth it brings into the space. It’s one of those updates that I consider to bring soul to your home that is so necessary to nurture you.

One of the items I’ve been itching to add in our living room for so long now is an ottoman in front of each of our mid-century modern chairs. I feel after covering these Cheswold Ottomans in some luxurious fabric to match the chairs would be perfect! The style of this natural wood one is another ideal foot rest and would also fit perfectly in a bathroom corner.

Summer Dresses // It’s official – sundress season has arrived. I’ve been ready to spend my days in loose and comfy dresses. I’m talking simple and easy-breezy ones like this one and this one are perfection. How adorable is this one? Such a great staple for afternoon tea.

Also, let’s talk about the Amazon Prime Day Sale – guess what? I missed it since I was away those days. However, I still find the prices on the essentials are so incredibly reasonable. I especially love the daily ritual‘s soft moments which have a number of pieces I’m eyeing. But to be honest, I’m super bummed that I missed the sale on this must-have NuFace facial trainer device. The good news is, the mini version which is perfect to travel with, is a lot less costly. I’m always on the lookout for practical yet pretty decor for my laundry room, so these pretty laundry room decor essentials caught my attention.

Last but not least, it may not be much to talk about but this second harvest of my little tomatoes this season brought so much joy to my heart plucking them off their vines grown in my whiskey barrel planter – it’s something that I would be remiss not to note as part of the things I’m most grateful for in 2021.

However, the most exciting news for this month is, we finally took our first week of real vacation of the summer and I’ll be sharing a highlight of it soon. If you don’t want to miss any of my posts, please register for updates at the footer of the homepage so as not to miss them when published.
