My husband surprised me with a sneak getaway before our tax season madness begins, and I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this beautifully tucked away spot in the California hills. As a city girl who expects a well-curated list of the best places and things to do such as, restaurants, spas, cultural venues, entertainment, and boutiques, I must say, my expectations can be high. I’m always relieved when we find the best that the country has to offer. Once I saw this place, the first thing that came to mind was, “this would be a great place for a writer to come to be inspired.” As an adventurous couple, we love to explore the world of its beauties, and Ojai is now one of our favorite little treasured getaway memories that we will always cherish.
