Think Outside The Box When Organizing

August 6, 2012

Anyone that knows me knows I’m very fastidious, which means I don’t sleep well until I have everything in its place. I’m one of those people that can’t think straight or focus if things feel out of place. That’s the only way I’m efficient, productive and able to think clearly. As I have moved recently, I had to find the right solution to keep my office supplies organized and conveniently placed in my new home office. The solution was using a well-recognized item for the kitchen in an unconventional way.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again {see more organizing tips here}, things tend to pile up and become clutter when there’s no designated spot for them. So assigning things to its own space will make putting things away easier and keep you clutter-free. Keeping organized is KEY!

Great minds! I use cutlery trays for make up brushes & mascara & lipstick (things that roll easily). Another great use is for jewelry. You have this transition from large space to small space down to a science!
