Once upon a time, many, many moons ago, when I walked into any store no matter where I was – traveling or not, I used to immediately see things that would make great gifts for friends and people in my life that I knew well before I would think of buying for myself. That is, until I moved away and met with one too many unfavorable experiences that taught me that I needed to be just as thoughtful and generous with myself. There’s absolutely no shame in showing yourself self-love. I’m all about self-pampering, and if that means treating yourself to something luxurious… whether that’s having a spa day, getting a facial, or splurging on something you’ve been eyeing, I say go for it! Love, in general, should not only be allocated to just one day a year, but every moment of our life, especially self-love. These are a few favorites that are on my wish list that I hope will get you inspired to treat yourself.
I’ve been eyeing this Dorsey necklace for quite some time now for that beautiful sparkle, and it’s the ideal accessory for adding a touch of sophistication and glamour to any outfit. It makes the perfect statement for date night outfits, as well.
I have such an affinity for mohair and timeless pieces, especially with such beautiful feminine details as the embroidered beads on this sweater, which has me dying to get it.
A simple yet sophisticated way to add the perfect subtle touch of sparkle with this chic ear cuff.
I love candles and am constantly burning them in each room. There’s no better treat than lighting a beautifully fragrant candle. This well-loved candle is definitely a major splurge, but it’s not only intoxicating, it also makes for some beautiful decor, even if it’s just for the whiff of it. Ha!
I’m big on perfume, and this brand always has been one of my favorites. I’ve wanted to try this scent for quite some time now. I’m intrigued by the aroma notes mixed with African marigold, bergamot, violet, and cedarwood. Just being able to spritz this on right before heading out the door adds such a romantic allure for the day or evening ahead.
Speaking of date night, this timelessly elegant one-shoulder dress caught my eye. It makes me wish I was in NY to wear it to the NY Philharmonic paired with these sparkly mules.
Last but not least, a delightful floral bouquet for inspiration. One of the best ways of showing self-love is to always have beautiful floral arrangements around your home to lift your mood. I mostly create mine from foraged clippings around our yard or from the local grocery store’s offerings for the week.
Here’s to treating yourself more this year!
