There are very few things that can get me out of a mental rut – one of which is art. Though art from one person to another is much like the adage, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, I’m sure many can agree that an artist’s way of transmitting feelings visually and conveying their emotions through the skillful use of paint is something undeniably both moving and extremely talented. I’m one who appreciates any variety of art, from high end that my shallow pockets can never imagine acquiring to inexpensive ones that can bring just as much inspiration and joy, such as these watercolor pieces. My art inspiration mood as of late has been drawn to watercolor drawings/paintings, especially fashion related. They’re what I consider “happy art”. My soul can’t be helped but feel incited and inspired by their colorful vibrancy. What’s more remarkable about this type of artwork is that at first glance, it might appear simple, yet after continued viewing, there’s a revealing of depth and layers that make you develop more appreciation for not only the painting but also for the artist who created it and brought that piece of joy into your life.
