Grateful Moments

June 29, 2012

{A rainy night sky of the Empire State and Chrysler buildings}

Hi everybody! Just a quick hello from the “Big Apple.” It’s so nice to be back in my old stomping ground. I love this city so much! There are so many things about it that just gives me a shot of happy adrenaline rush. The energy of it, the architecture, the walking culture, the different seasons, the plethora of sidewalk cafes, and the FOOD!

Can you tell I’m grinning from ear-to-ear? Although I’m still buried in a sea of boxes from our recent move, I still wanted to focus on the little things that bring me joy. Gratitude gives higher vitality and more optimism… thus achieving a more positive sense of self. These are some of the things that made me smile and happy.

{Unpacking is certainly more fun than packing… dishes from the mother-in-law}

{Some cocktails to take the edge off of unpacking}

{Citibank – the tallest building in Long Island City Queens, NY}

{Beautiful fresh fruit steps away…}

{A Long Island City Landmark, which reminds me of my favorite movie Julie and Julia}

I wish you a stress-free day and weekend! Thanks for reading and come again;)
