Just like that, February is gone! Time flew by so fast, it left me with insufficient time to fully evaluate how I felt about how the month went. Overall for me, I’d say February felt a little lighter and altogether was a calm month. It could be because of the feeling of change stirring in the air signaling the arrival of spring. There is nothing more refreshing than that fresh cool air and seeing our front trees beaming with snowball-like clusters of pretty white blossoms.
The weather has been so nice with the sunlight shining longer, it has gotten me itching to finish our backyard landscaping and decor furnishing so we can enjoy it as soon as spring arrives before the blazing summer heat forces us to crawl back into hibernation, again. If you follow me on Instagram, you have likely seen in my IG stories that I’ve already started doing some planting! I planted some herbs, strawberries, and a variety of tomatoes. I can’t wait to see everything in full bloom.
We also unintentionally started a new weekend tradition where the hubby bbq’s some sort of meat on the Traeger grill, while I’m in charge of cooking the sides, making a signature cocktail that pairs well with the meal, and baking some kind of dessert. It has now given us something to look forward to on the weekends! It has truly boiled down to the littlest of things, lately.
Speaking of gardening, I recently purchased two interesting statues for our backyard that need pedestals to make a greater focal statement. These make the perfect option that would look great nestled in between the plants.
Aaaand this charming sculpture puts such a smile on my face.
For a while now, I’ve been slowly transitioning from wearing jeans and pants to pretty frocks like this one especially now isolated at home.
I’m obsessed with vintage glasses and these are similar to a set my mother-in-law gifted us many years ago in a green. Not only is the timeless style beautiful and classic, but they remind me of that aristocratic lifestyle.
I just recently discovered this amazingly reasonably priced art print shop that had me giddy over almost every print, especially the vintage section. I may or may not have ordered several prints! The good news is: BECKABELLASTYLE will get you 15% off!
This scent to me is what I like to call “desert spring” in a bottle. Being that I live in the desert now, it’s only right to embrace all of its desiccated charms.
