Hi my dear readers! Thank you for visiting and not giving up on stopping by the blog. I know there hasn’t been much activity on here lately in the last month or so. Be assured I’ve not fallen off the face of the earth, nor have I given up on this blog. Since our transition back home to New York, I’ve been pouring my attention into getting our new urban space together – a process that is both exhaustively challenging and satisfying. Anyone that knows me well will tell you that once I’m involved in a design project whether for a client or for myself, I become so consumed that I’m like a bulldog on a bone. The good news is, I have quite a few exciting projects that I’ve completed that I can’t wait to share with you on here. So check back often for updates as I will slowly but surely upload pictures of some of the progress made.
In the meantime, here’s what I wore on a night out with some girlfriends this past Friday. When you’re crunched for time the last thing you have energy and time for is a pair of pants that you have to zip up, or fumble with a belt to keep it from falling off your hips showing your derriere (a problem I’m too familiar with as the waist of most pants or jeans are often too big on me while the rest fit my athletic legs fine). This made reaching for these faux snakeskin leggings that night an easy choice for their slip-on elastic waist. To amp up the soft iridescent sheen snakeskin print of the pants, I pulled the subtle red accents of the Eiffel tower’ print in the shirt by completing the outfit with red accessories and red lipstick. This added that touch of attitude and brought life to an ensemble that would have otherwise had a major case of the blues.
