To the place where I belong… for the past few weeks, I have been singing this Daughtry song in my mind knowing that the days were getting closer to making our road trip across America back this month!

The miles from home feel like an eternity though, but to keep things fun and interesting I am going to try and document each day on the road until the big arrival. I can’t wait to have a welcome home party! Oh, wait! Would it be tacky to throw my own welcome home party? I am thinking of throwing one after the hubby and I get all unpacked and re-settled down again… that sure will be worth the celebration as it does not seem possible at this time looking at the mounds and mounds of boxes and STUFF around our condo right now!
