This simple post reminder along with this one, really gave me the push that I desperately needed this week. It truly motivated me once again to not allow what it’s looking like outside to let my hands slack on doing what I’d planned to get accomplished on the inside. I ended up getting a good portion of my deep spring cleaning started – first with the bedroom windows, blinds, ledges and base moldings. As it is, I already maintain a spotless home because I’m “Monkish” as the husband lovingly deems me, but the feeling of starting fresh and cleaning parts of the apartment that don’t get touched weekly is in itself very cathartic. There’s this feeling of lightness that’s felt afterwards and makes your space feel fresh. How about you? How was your week?
