Fads usually come and go, some within a few months. A few fashions, though, become established styles. Jeans are a perfect example of this. Back in the 50’s and 60’s blue jeans were only popular among the youthful protesters. Now, however, they are worn in a variety of settings by people of various age groups, thus removing the stigma that was once attached to blue jeans or denim. But boy, am I glad that your typical blue jeans have come such a long way, not only in the many color varieties but also in the many design patterns and luxurious fabric materials that they come in. They have been slowly converting me into a jeans’ lover. The camo pattern, and the comfortable stretch fabric on these Hudson skinny jeans (aside the fact that they’re made in the U.S.A.) are what sold me on them. Needless to say, I’ve been wearing them (shamefully) almost every day. They made a perfect companion to my striped bonjour sweater and colorblock high heel sandals on my recent trip to Catalina Island.
