“Each one has to find his peace from within. Peace to be real
must be unaffected by outside circumstances.” ~ Gandhi
Rejection is such an unpleasant thing to experience. However, when we experience the pangs of rejection, we must quickly make a mental shift and remember that our worth does not rest on the approval of another human – for when we use another’s approval or disapproval as the yardstick by which to measure our own worth, we are making ourselves vulnerable to depression, and to possibly feeling worthless. When rejected, we must realize the rejection is directed perhaps against a particular thing you’re offering, not your worth as a person. So keep forging ahead, developing your gifts to the extent possible without letting any obstacles or people’s opinions/words keep you from letting your light shine and making a difference in the world. Rejection is like an obstacle course in your journey through life – just jump over it.

Very good advice & nice timing – I feel you wrote it for me! I wanted to add that in a hard employment market, hang in there ladies!
I'm glad to know that the information uplifted your spirits. It's something that we all face every now & then. But as you aptly put it, persistence is key in accomplishing our goals. So, giving up isn't an option;)
