About four months ago when we first moved into our place here, after we un-buried ourselves out of all the boxes, my mind quickly shifted into decorating mode. I was completely filled with excited energy, exploding with inspiration that I couldn’t wait to see to fruition – thus, I embarked upon an unusual amount of projects (that now seem endless) all at once because my brain was inspired with so many ideas. I literally could not sleep. I became so overwhelmed to the point that apparently it’s completely shut down my creative process. Has that happened to you? The most frustrating part is that I’ve got a gazillion before and after project photos that I’ve been wanting to post on my blog over the last few months, but, I haven’t been able to fully gather my thoughts to type my posts, now all these pictures are just sitting there. The thought of the year end being so imminent only adds to my mental block. Having a schedule that keeps us constantly running doesn’t help either. But days like this, out and about for a lunch date always help to relax my mind.
